Message : CPF1974
Pointer alignment error for variable &3.
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : A pointer is not aligned on a 16-byte boundary for variable &3 in program &1. This error can occur if:
-- A basing pointer required to locate the variable is not correctly aligned.
-- The specified variable is a pointer that is not correctly aligned.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following and try the command again:
-- Use the ADR, PGMVAR, PTR, or REFPTR parameter to specify a basing pointer for the variable that is a correctly aligned pointer.
-- Ensure that all basing pointers for the variable are set correctly. You can use the Display Program Variable (DSPPGMVAR) command to display a pointer value, and either the Change High-Level Language Pointer (CHGHLLPTR) or Change Pointer (CHGPTR) command to change a pointer data object variable.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : If the specified variable is not a pointer and no basing pointers were specified on the command, the variable is declared based on some pointer that is not set to a correct boundary.
