BAL Application Log Documentation BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header dataThis documentation is copyright by IBM.
Message : CPF1976
Variable &3 in program refers an object with freed storage.
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : In program &1, the variable or a basing pointer &3 required to locate the variable refers to an object that is not available because its storage was freed.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following and try the command again:
-- Use the ADR, PGMVAR, PTR, or REFPTR parameter to specify a basing pointer for the variable that does not require the object with freed storage.
-- Use the Restore Object (RSTOBJ) command to restore the object from a saved version.
-- Change the pointer value by using either the Change High-Level Language Pointer (CHGHLLPTR) or Change Pointer (CHGPTR) command if the basing pointer that refers to the object with freed storage is a pointer data object variable.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : If no basing pointers were specified on the command, the variable is declared based on a pointer that is set to a location in an object with storage freed.
