CPF1BC8 - DTEPORT parameter cannot be specified. ( OS/400 )
General Material Data BAL_S_LOG - Application Log: Log header dataThis documentation is copyright by IBM.
Message : CPF1BC8
DTEPORT parameter cannot be specified.
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : The DTEPORT parameter cannot be used because of one of the following reasons:
-- The DCE configuration does not support multiple ports.
-- The DCE does support multiple ports, but it is configured to use the multi-address option. The DCE can be addressed by one of four sequential addresses. For example, the DCE could have addresses 04, 05, 06, and 07 corresponding to ports A, B, C, and D.
Recovery . . . : Try the VFYLNKLPDA command again without the DTEPORT parameter. If the DCE has multiple ports, specify the address of the desired port for the RMTDCEADR parameter.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The sense byte error code is &4. The DCE type and model is &6.
DCEs configured with the multi-address option have four DCE addresses. Each address has the same six high-order bits. The two low-order bits determine the DTE port.
