Controller &1 must be varied off for this operation.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The operation requested did not complete successfully for one or more of the following reasons:
-- Controller &1 must be varied off for this operation.
-- The device specified for the delete or rename operation is the last device attached to controller &1. This device cannot be deleted or renamed if no other devices are attached to controller &1.
-- The host system LU associated with the device specified in the delete or rename operation is not varied off.
Recovery . . . :
-- If a restore or install operation is being performed and this is the console controller or a controller being used by the operation, no recovery is necessary.
-- To delete, rename, or change controller &1, use the Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) command to vary off controller &1. Then try the request again.
-- To delete or rename a device attached to controller &1, do one of the following then try the request again.
-- Create another device description for controller &1 so that the device being deleted or renamed is not the only device attached to the controller.
-- Deactivate the LU on the host system that is associated with the device being deleted or renamed.
-- Vary off (VRYCFG command) controller &1.
