Edit mask not valid.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The value specified for the edit mask parameter is not valid. One of the following problems may have occurred:
1) The number of digit positions in the edit mask and the source variable are not equal.
2) The edit mask has a syntax error.
3) The receiver variable has a length error.
4) The source variable has a decimal data error.
Recovery . . . :
1) The QECEDT source variable precision must match the QECCVTEC source variable precision.
--The QECEDT source variable precision must match the number of digit positions in the edit word.
--The QECEDT source variable class and precision must match the class and length of the actual source variable.
2) The QECEDT edit mask must be the edit mask created by the QECCVTEC or QECCVTEW.
3) The QECEDT receiver variable length must match the receiver variable length in the QECCVTEC or QECCVTEW.
4) The source variable, if *ZONED or *PACKED must have valid sign and digit codes. The valid sign characters are hex A-F. The valid digit range is 0-9.
