File definition &1 cannot be linked to file.
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : This file definition contains variable-length fields, date/time/timestamp fields, null fields, or DBCS-graphic fields. These fields cannot be used with a program described file.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following:
-- Use this definition to create a new file. The file will be an externally described file.
-- Change the file definition so it does not use variable-length fields, date/time/timestamp fields, null-capable fields, or DBCS-graphic fields.
-- Link the file to another definition that does not use the above field types.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : Some field attributes are only supported by externally described database files. They include the following:
-- Variable-length SBCS-character fields
-- Date, Time, and Timestamp fields
-- Fields that allow null values
-- DBCS-graphic fields
File definitions that contain fields with any of the above attributes cannot be linked to a program described file.
