Type &4 not allowed for &3 file &1.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The value &4, specified on the TYPE parameter, is not allowed for &3 file &1 in library &2. The types of *SPOOL, *SELECT, and *JOIN are not allowed for a physical file.
Recovery . . . : Either change the file name or change the value on the TYPE parameter. Then try the request again.
