Message : CPF348E
Spool file availability control block is unavailable. Reason code &1.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Reason codes and their meanings follow:
Reason code 1 -- The spool file availability control block in library QSPL is damaged, destroyed, or missing. Subsequent attempts to create new spooled files or to delete existing spooled files in output queues in the system auxiliary storage pool (ASP 1) or in a basic user ASP (ASPs 2-32) will fail.
Reason code 2 -- The spool file availability control block on the primary ASP of the thread's ASP group is damaged, destroyed, or missing. Subsequent attempts to create new spooled files or to delete existing spooled files in output queues in that ASP group will fail.
Recovery . . . : If the reason code was 1, allow existing jobs and writers to complete. Readers will end when processing inline data and any job that creates or deletes spooled file(s) will cause an error. Power down the system (PWRDWNSYS command) and do an attended initial program load (IPL). During the IPL the damaged file availability control block will be repaired. Spooled files may be lost during this process. For more information about the PWRDWNSYS command and doing an attended initial program load (IPL), refer to the Basic system operations topic collection in the Systems management category in the IBM i Information Center book, http://www.ibm.com/systems/i/infocenter/. If the reason code was 2, end all jobs using the ASP group. Vary the ASP device off and back on. During the vary on processing, the damaged file availability conrol block will be repaired.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : System object QSPFACB in one of the spool libraries is damaged, destroyed, or missing. This is an MI independent index used by the Spool component to determine which spool database member can be allocated for storing a new spooled file's data. If this problem continues to occur, collect all available VLOGs related to this object and report the problem using ANZPRB. Internal dump ID's can be obtained by attempting to create new spooled files, or to delete existing spooled files after this exception has been issued.
