Cause . . . . . : File &1 in library &2 is not valid or file entry &4 for the file is invalid. The following defines the reasons for the error.
01 -- File type. You must specify a physical or logical database file or a tape or diskette device file as an input or output file.
02 -- Variable length record access or null capable fields in file entry. These must both be set to 0 for program described input or output database files.
03 -- Null capable support invalid for input file. The file entry for the input file specifies a 1 for null capable fields. The input file is not a database file and cannot support null fields.
04 -- Null capable support invalid for output file. The file entry for the output file specifies a 1 for null capable fields. The output file is not a database file and cannot support null fields.
05 -- Variable length record access invalid for input file. The file entry for the input file specifies a 1 for variable length record access. Variable length record access is valid for database files only.
06 -- Variable length record access invalid for output file. The file entry for the output file specifies a 1 for variable length record access. Variable length record access is valid for database files only.
07 -- An input file supports null capable fields and the output file specified above does not support null capable fields.
08 -- An input file supports variable length record access and the output file specified above does not support variable length record access.
