Device &4 cannot process loaded volume.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : One of the following occurred:
-- The volume being processed for file &2 in library &3 cannot be read.
-- The volume loaded on device &4 cannot be processed, because the format or density is not valid.
-- Device &4 can only write at the current cartridge density when starting from the Beginning of Tape.
-- The tape may contain data which was compacted and device &4 cannot read compacted data.
-- The operator loaded a different volume during file processing.
-- The tape device needs cleaning.
-- The tape volume is damaged.
-- A hardware error occurred.

Recovery . . . : Clean the tape path and heads. Then try the request again. If the error occurs again, load a different volume and try the request again. If you are having trouble initializing the tape or writing data to a tape, see the Storage solutions category in the IBM i Information Center book, http://www.ibm.com/systems/i/infocenter/, for the correct format or density for your device.
