Message : CPF4144
File sequence number &7 not correct for volume &6.
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : An error has occurred processing file &2 in library &3 on device &4. File sequence number &7 is not correct and must be a value of 1 to 16777215.
File sequence number 1 is always correct to create or write over the first file on the volume for 1/2 inch, 1/4 inch, and 8mm tapes.
If sequence number 1 is not used, the file sequence number must be one greater than the sequence number of the last file on the volume, in order to add a file to the end of that volume.
If a file already exists at the specified sequence number on a 1/2 inch tape, that file and all those following will be overwritten. Files can not be overwritten for 1/4 inch and 8mm tapes.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following, and try the request again:
-- Specify the correct sequence number on the OVRTAPF command.
-- Load the correct volume on the tape device.
-- Load next volume and try the request again with sequence number 1.
