Cause . . . . . : Condition code of &5 indicates why no device was obtained:
1 -- Media library device &4 is varied on, but no devices are allocated for the library device scheduler to use.
2 -- A category is mounted on media library device &4 with the Set Tape Category (SETTAPCGY) command with MNTID(*NONE), but the category is in use. Another job has issued a tape operation using the volume parameter VOL(*MOUNTED). Only one tape command may be processed at a time to a mounted category. If FROMVOL(*MOUNTED) is specified on a Duplicate Tape (DUPTAP) command, then TOVOL(*MOUNTED) may not be specified if the FROMDEV and TODEV are the same. The TODEV and the FROMDEV devices may not both use the same mounted category.
3 -- Another job currently active for library device &4 has a space location lock on an internal object.
Recovery . . . :
1 -- Allocate a resource within the library device to the library device description &4 by using the Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) command. Specify configuration object &4, configuration type *MLBRSC, status *ALLOCATE and the specific resource to allocate.
2 -- Do not attempt to use the mounted category with MNTID(*NONE) until the tape operation currently using VOL(*MOUNTED) has completed or specify a volume to be used in the VOL parameter.
3 -- Try the operation again after the other job for device &4 has completed and released the space location lock.
