Cause . . . . . : The program has specified first character forms control of *MACHINE on the CTLCHAR parameter for file &2 in library &3. CTLCHAR(*MACHINE) requires a device type of *LINE or *AFPDSLINE be specified on the printer file.
Recovery . . . : Either correct the program or change printer file &2 to specify DEVTYPE(*LINE) or DEVTYPE(*AFPDSLINE) using the Create Printer File (CRTPRTF), the Change Printer File (CHGPRTF), or the Override Printer File (OVRPRTF) command.
