Agent Service not submitted. Reason code &1.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The agent service job, &2, could not be submitted to batch. The reason code is &1.

Reason Codes:
01 - Subsystem QSYSWRK is inactive.
02 - Preferences file is not configured correctly.
03 - Submit Job (SBMJOB) command failed.
04 - A JVM exception has occurred.
05 - A host is being used that is not configured: &3
06 - Invalid credentials for the principal of a pool at port &3
07 - The correct services are not being used to run in secure mode.

Recovery . . . : Do one of the following:
01 - Start the subsystem QSYSWRK
02 - The preferences file must be in the correct format. Follow the guidelines to correctly configure your preferences file. Some of the more common problems to check for are if you have any pools defined, and if their port is between 0 and 65535, and if you have principals defined for each pool when the platform is secure.
03 - See the messages previously listed. Correct the errors and then attempt to start the services again.
04 - See the previously listed message containing the JVM exception. Correct the problem and attempt to start the services again.
05 - The preferences file must contain a valid pool entry for each pool that is being set with the SBMJOBUSER parameter on the STRAGTSRV command. Either specify a valid pool on the command, or add this pool to the preferences file.
06 - Each pool in the preferneces file must always be able to authenticate itself when running in secure mode. There must be valid credentials for each pool while starting the services. Have the agent services administrator refresh the credentials for the principal of this pool.
07 - When running in secure mode, the preferences file must be configured to use the verifiable services. Correct the preferences file and attempt to start the services again.
