Interface error while using device &4.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The I/O Processor or attached device detected an interface error while processing file &2 in library &3.
Recovery . . . : Use one of the following commands and try the request again:
1. Vary the device off and then on again using the Work with Configuration Status (WRKCFGSTS) command:
WRKCFGSTS CFGTYPE(*DEV) ASTLVL(*INTERMED)
On the Work with Configuration Status screen, use Option 2 to vary off device &4.
Type RESET(*YES) on the command line and use Option 1 to vary on device &4.
If the vary on with RESET(*YES) fails, try vary on with RESET(*NO).
2. Use the Vary Configuration (VRYCFG) command to vary the device off and then on again:
VRYCFG CFGOBJ(&4) CFGTYPE(*DEV) STATUS(*OFF) RESET(*NO)
VRYCFG CFGOBJ(&4) CFGTYPE(*DEV) STATUS(*ON) RESET(*YES)
If the vary on with RESET(*YES) fails, try vary on with RESET(*NO).
3. If the problem continues, start problem analysis (ANZPRB) command.
