Could not reach remote destination.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Remote IP address &3 associated with APPC *HPRIP Controller &1 could not be reached. Possible causes are that remote system is inactive, the local TCP/IP stack is down or the local IP address is incorrect. The reason code is &2. The reason codes and their meanings follow:
--1: TCP/IP stack is down or local IP address &4 is not valid.
--2: The IP interface with local address &4 is down.
--3: Maximum number of retries exceeded. The remote system is not reachable.
Recovery . . . : Based on the reason code, do one of the following:
1 or 2 -- Check the specified local IP address and see if the interface is active (NETSTAT *IFC).
3 -- Check that the remote system is running. You can try with a PING if available.
