Lost contact with APPC or HOST controller &1 in APPN network.

Cause . . . . . : Controller description &1 will no longer be chosen as a route into the advanced peer-to-peer networking (APPN) network because controller description &2 has been negotiated to use the same transmission group number. Parallel transmission groups between two control points must have unique transmission group numbers.
This problem may be caused by the remote system varying off all of its transmission groups to the local system, and then varying on the transmission groups again in a different order. Since the system with a higher control point name determines the transmission group number, the remote system has control over the transmission group number.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following:
Have the remote system operator establish a connection with the controller description having the error. This causes a unique transmission group number to be negotiated when the controller is contacted, and the problem will be resolved.
Vary off the controller and vary it on again. This could cause the local system to make an outgoing call which causes a unique transmission group number to be negotiated when the controller is contacted.
If the problem continues, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
