Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Journal receiver &4 is damaged and may no longer be usable.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following to recover a journal receiver marked full damage:
- If the journal receiver was never attached to a journal, do the following:
1 - Use the Delete Journal Receiver (DLTJRNRCV) command to delete the journal receiver.
2 - Use the Create Journal Receiver (CRTJRNRCV) command to create the journal receiver again.
- If the journal receiver is not currently attached to a journal, do the following:
1 - Use the DLTJRNRCV command to delete the journal receiver.
2 - Restore a previously saved copy of the journal receiver.
- If the journal receiver is currently attached to a journal, do the following:
1 - Use the CRTJRNRCV command to create a new journal receiver.
2 - Use the Change Journal (CHGJRN) command to detach the damaged journal receiver and attach the new journal receiver. The damaged receiver can then be deleted using the DLTJRNRCV command.
Do one of the following to determine the attributes needed to create the new journal receiver:
- If a dual receiver exists, use the Display Journal Receiver Attributes (DSPJRNRCVA) command to display the attributes of the dual receiver.
- If the damaged receiver is associated with a journal, do the following:
1 - Use the Work With Journal Attributes (WRKJRNA) command to display the receiver directory.
2 - Use the display option to determine the attributes of an older journal receiver.
All journal entries, except those on the damaged portion, may be displayed by using the Display Journal (DSPJRN) command. If a dual receiver exists, it will be used in place of the damaged journal receiver.
