Beginning and embedded nulls cannot be removed at this display.

Cause . . . . . : When starting 3270 display emulation (STREML3270 command), the function to remove beginning and embedded nulls within the 3270 data stream (*REMOVE) was specified for handle nulls (NULLS parameter).
Or during an emulation session, either:
--The handle nulls setting was set to *REMOVE by taking option 7 from the Select 3270 Emulation Option for BSC display.
--The handle nulls setting was set to *REMOVE by taking option 8 from the Select 3270 Emulation Option for SNA display.
However, the work station controller that this display is attached to, cannot handle this function. The handle nulls setting will be reset to the function of changing beginning and embedded nulls to blanks.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following:
-- If you need to have beginning and embedded nulls removed then you must start 3270 display emulation at a display attached to a controller that supports this function. For a list of controllers that support this function, refer to the 3270 Device Emulation Support book, SC41-5408.
-- Otherwise, you can continue. Beginning and embedded nulls will continue to be changed to blanks.
