Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The virtual device specified must be in the vary on pending condition before it can be used by pass-through.
Recovery . . . : Vary on the virtual device on the target system. Then try the request again.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : Devices must be varied on at the target system before they are used by pass-through. If the target system is a S/38, then vary on the device using the VRYDEV command. If the target is a System i5, then vary on the device using the VRYCFG command.
