Full LAN manager function not available on line &23. Reason code &40.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : One or more LAN manager functions are not available on line &23. The reason code is &40. Reason codes are as follows:
2 - Line varied off normal
3 - Link terminating error
5 - Ring error monitor server terminating error
6 - Configuration report server terminating error
7 - Ring error monitor IPCF connection failed
8 - Configuration report server IPCF connection failed
B - DDI Station Management (SMT) IPCF connection failed
- If the reason code is 5, 6, 7, or 8, data transfer on the token ring line is not affected. Only the LAN manager function for token-ring is affected.
- If the reason code is B, data transfer on the DDI line is not affected. Only the LAN manager function for DDI is affected.
Recovery . . . : The line must be varied off and varied back on to regain full LAN manager function.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The ring error monitor (REM), configuration report server (CRS), or DDI Station Management (SMT) functions in the IOP are no longer available via the IPCF connection to the LAN I/O Manager (LIOM).
