Token-ring line &23 beaconing. Recovery procedures failed.

Cause . . . . . : A permanent error has occurred on token-ring line &23. The following information may be helpful for problem analysis:
Ring state: &40
Beacon type: &41
Beaconing adapter address: &42
Nearest active upstream neighbor (NAUN) of beaconing adapter: &43
Removed adapter address: &44
Recovery . . . : The token ring has failed to recover using built-in recovery procedures. Use the information in the Technical Description to analyze the equipment failure.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : Additional information:
Ring state is &40.
-- 0000: Normal.
-- 0002: Temporary beaconing. A temporary beaconing condition was detected and this REM does not support the tower function to query the fault domain stations after temporary beaconing.
-- 0006: Permanent beaconing. The token-ring has been in a beaconing condition for longer than the permanent-error detection timer.
Beacon type is &41.
-- 0001: Set recovery mode.
-- 0002: Signal loss detected.
-- 0003: Monitor contention failed. No contention frames received.
-- 0004: Monitor contention failed. Contention frames received.
Beaconing adapter address is &42.
-- Medium access control (MAC) address of the adapter that is sending beacon MAC frames.
NAUN of beaconing adapter is &43.
-- MAC address of the NAUN of the adapter that is sending beacon MAC frames.
Removed adapter address is &44.
-- MAC address of an adapter in the beacon error domain that removed itself as part of the ring automatic recovery process. For more information on errors, see the Token-Ring Network Problem Determination Guide, SX27-3710.
