Authentication protocol failed. Reason code &1.

Cause . . . . . : Reason code: 1 - Unexpected exception occurred. See previous messages. 2 - Data is inconsistent. 3 - Profile credential could not be retrieved for profile. 4 - Profile credential could not be authenticated for profile. 5 - Profile credential is not from specified profile. 6 - Substitution data could not be retrieved for profile. 7 - Kerberos ticket from remote system could not be authenticated. 8 - Could not retrieve Kerberos service ticket. 9 - Kerberos principal is not in trusted group. 10 - Could not find the EIM association for the user being authenticated.
Recovery . . . : Recovery: 1 - Verify the configuration is correct. This error may indicate a security violation. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 2 - Verify the profile, protocol and configuration are correct. Ensure the password is the same on all systems. This error may indicate a security violation. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 3 - An error occurred attempting to retreive the profile credential. This error may indicate a security violation. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 4 - Verify the profile and configuration are correct. This error may indicate a security violation. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 5 - Verify the profile and configuration are correct. This error indicates a security violation. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 6 - Verify the profile and configuration are correct. This error may indicate a security violation. The profile must be enabled and have a password. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 7 - Verify that Kerberos is configured properly on all your systems. This error may indicate a security violation. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 8 - Verify that the Kerberos principal krbsvr400/Ø is in the KDC as well as in the keytab file for each of your systems (replacing SYSTEM_NAME and DEFAULT_REALM with the appropriate values). Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 9 - Add the Kerberos principal for the system that is trying to connect to this system to your trusted group file. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service. 10 - Verify that EIM is configured properly on this system, and also that an EIM association exists from the user on the remote system to a user on this system. Try the request again, if the problem persists contact service.
