Message : CPI0948
Mirrored protection is suspended on disk unit &1.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The system is not able to locate a storage unit. Mirrored protection is suspended on disk unit number &1. Data has not been lost. The following information indicates where the system located the storage unit before the storage unit was missing from the system configuration:
Disk serial number: &27
Disk type: &3
Disk model: &4
Device resource name: &26
Recovery . . . : Do the following:
1. Use the system Resource Configuration List display to see the storage unit that is identified as missing.
2. Ensure the power cables on the storage unit are connected.
3. Ensure the power switches on the storage unit are set to the On position.
4. Ensure the cables are connected between all devices on the storage device controller card, because one of the storage units attached to the device controller card is listed as missing.
5. Ensure each unit attached to the storage controller card that has a unit listed as missing, has a unique address. If an address switch is changed, power off the storage unit and then power on the storage unit.
6. Ensure the disk unit is ready. If the disk unit is not in a READY status, refer to the disk unit documentation.
If you correct the problem using one of the steps listed above, do the following:
1. Type the Start System Service Tools (STRSST) command and press the Enter key.
2. Select the option to Work with disk units and press the Enter key.
3. Select the option to Work with disk unit recovery and press the Enter key.
4. Select the option to Resume mirrored protection and press the Enter key.
5. Type a 1 in the option field for the storage unit with resource name &26 and press the Enter key. Mirrored protection on the disk unit will resume.
If you cannot correct the problem, use the Analyze Problem (ANZPRB) command to report the problem to your service representative.
