NWI &30 failed.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The network switch &30 failed to respond to Q.2110 signalling messages.
Recovery . . . : Vary off the NWI, try restarting the network switch or the port on the network switch to which the server is attached.
If the failure continues, contact the provider of the network switch and follow their problem determination procedures.
If the problem persists, contact the provider of the network switch or your IBM service representative.
Technical description . . . . . . . . :
The layer of code that handles Q.2110 signalling messages sent a BEGIN frame to the network switch. The response was not received within the timeout period. This occurred even though ILMI (the code that handles address registration) was able to communicate with the switch. The problem may be with the network switch.
