Downstream SNPT device &25 rejected activation.

Cause . . . . . : Device &25 on controller &24 is a downstream SNPT device. As a downstream SNPT device, device &25 rejected an activation (Systems Network Architecture (SNA) ACTLU) from a remote system. Downstream SNPT devices are configured to send an activation rather than receive an activation.
Recovery . . . : This is a configuration mismatch. Downstream SNPT devices in this system cannot be connected to downstream SNPT devices in another server. Likewise, downstream SNPT device in this system cannot be connected to a host system. Downstream devices are those specifying *DOWN in the SNPT class (SNPTCLS) parameter of the device description.
The configuration problem may be in this system or an adjacent system or both. The device class is incorrect. The device with the incorrect device class must be deleted with the Delete Device Description (DLTDEVD) command and created again with the Create Device SNPT (CRTDEVSNPT) command. Pay attention to the SNPTCLS parameter with the *UP and *DOWN values.
If the problem persists, report the problem (ANZPRB command).
