Cause . . . . . :
The Dependent Logical Unit Server (DLUS) &3.&4 sent Systems Network Architecture (SNA) negative data to the request activate physical unit (REQACTPU) request. This is caused by a configuration error which must be corrected before a CP-SVR pipe can be established to the DLUS &3.&4.
Recovery . . . :
If DLUS &3.&4 is the primary DLUS (PRIDLUS parameter) for controller &7 and if a backup DLUS is specified (BKUDLUS parameter), the local system attempts to contact the backup DLUS.
The configuration error must be corrected before a CP-SVR pipe can be established to DLUS &3.&4.
On the local system, display the controller description (DSPCTLD command) to verify the following:
-- Dependent Physical Unit (DEPPUNAME)
-- Local Exchange Identifier (LCLEXCHID)
On the local system, display the network attributes (DSPNETA command) to verify the following:
-- Local Control Point (LCLCPNAME) Name
To verify this information at the DLUS, contact the system administrator. Request the system administrator to to verify the physical unit (PU) name, block identifier, number identifier and network identifier parameters on the PU definition. Also, request the system administrator to verify the network identifier parameter for the cross domain resource definition for the local system.
The local exchange identifier and dependent physical unit name parameters cannot be changed in controller description &7. If either of these parameters are incorrect in controller description &7, delete the controller description (DLTCTLD command) and create a new controller description (CRTCTLHOST command) with the correct value.
If the values specified on the remote system are incorrect, request that the system administrator change the definitions to specify the correct values.
Technical description . . . . . . . . :
The PU name sent to the remote system is &2.
The exchange identifier sent to the remote system is &8.
The sense data received was &1.
SNA sense data and the problems detected follow:
0806 0000 - Resource not known.
For DLUR, the DLUS did not recognize the PU name, the exchange identifier is not unique or the CP name is not unique.
