Local system rejected ACTPU request from DLUS &3.&4.

Cause . . . . . :
The local system sent Systems Network Architecture (SNA) negative response data. This was in response to an SNA activate physical unit (ACTPU) request from the Dependent Logical Unit Server (DLUS) &3.&4.
The dependent physical unit name (DEPPUNAME) received was &2.
The local exchange identifier (LCLEXCHID) received was &8.
Recovery . . . :
The local system rejected the ACTPU from DLUS &3.&4 for one of the following reasons:
-- There is no DLUR controller on the local system that corresponds to the information in the ACTPU
-- A DLUR controller description exists, but it is not varied on.
-- A DLUR controller description exists and is varied on, but it is not in a state in which it can accept an ACTPU.
Verify that the DLUR controller is varied on.
If the DLUR controller description exists and is in a state other than VARIED OFF, display the QSYSOPR message queue or the configured message queue. Locate CPI5Dxx messages. Follow the instructions in those messages. If no changes are made to the controller description, respond to the CPA5D80 or CPA5D88 message in the QSYSOPR message queue or the configured message queue.
If there are no CPA5Dxx or CPI5Dxx messages, wait for the state of the controller to change so the ACTPU can be accepted.
If there is a controller description matching the information received in the ACTPU request that is varied off, vary on the controller description (VFYCFG command).
If there is no controller description matching the information received in the ACTPU request, create the controller description (CRTCTLHOST command).
Vary on the controller description (VFYCFG command).
Technical description . . . . . . . . :
The local system sent negative response with SNA sense data &1.
The SNA sense data and the problems detected follow:
0801 0000 - Resource not available.
For DLUR, this probably means that the controller is varied on but is not in a state in which it can accept the ACTPU.
0806 0000 - Resource not known.
For DLUR, this probably means that the controller does not exist or is not varied on.
