Cause . . . . . : An error prevented the system from either determining if the system was to manage journal receivers for journal &1 in library &2 in Auxilary Storage Pool (ASP) group &3, or from attaching a journal receiver to journal &1 in library &2 in ASP group &3 at this time. If *N appears for the ASP group name then the journal exists in the system ASP or a basic user ASP.
Recovery . . . : Use the Display Job Log (DSPJOBLOG) command for the job that sent this message to determine what problems occurred. Take any corrective action required for the error condition.
Use the Work with Journal Attributes (WRKJRNA) command, and specify journal &1 in library &2 in ASP group &3, to determine if the system was to manage the journal receiver for this journal.
If the system was to manage the journal receiver for this journal, create a new journal receiver using the CRTJRNRCV command. Attach the new journal receiver to the journal using the Change Journal (CHGJRN) command. The system will not be able to manage the journal receiver for journal &1 in library &2 in ASP group &3 until the CHGJRN command is performed.
If the system was not supposed to manage the journal receiver for this journal, an attached journal receiver has reached its threshold value, or the system was attempting the CHGJRN due to system release level changes. A new journal receiver should be attached using the CHGJRN command.
