Message : CPI8099
Maximum number of records exceeded for file &5 member &6.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : User &1 &2 attempted to send file &5 member &6 to user &3 &4. The file was not distributed because the file has a number of records which exceeds the maximum number of records supported by the receiving system. The file was sent at &8 and contains &10 records.
Recovery . . . : Perform one of the following:
-- If the file was a network file or input stream, use the Copy File (CPYF) command to copy the records from the database file member into two or more smaller members and send the copied members separately.
-- If the file was a spooled file, use the Copy Spooled File (CPYSPLF) command to copy the records into a physical file member. Then use the CPYF command to copy the records from that member into two or more smaller members and send the copied members separately.
-- If the file was a save file, use the Save Object (SAVOBJ) or Save Library (SAVLIB) command to save the objects into two or more smaller save files and send the save files separately.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : Network files, input streams and spooled files sent using Object Distribution have the following restrictions for the number of records:
-- Objects sent to a Version 2 Release 1 Modification 1 or earlier release of a System i cannot exceed 16 777 215 records.
-- Objects sent to System/38 cannot exceed 16 777 215 records.
-- Objects sent to System/36 cannot exceed 8 million records.
