Error in exit program for the Virtual Device Selection exit point. Reason code is &1.

Cause . . . . . : An error was detected when trying to use the exit program for the Virtual Device Selection exit point (QIBM_QPA_DEVSEL). The reason code is &1. See the following list of reason codes for more information about this specific problem:
0001-- No exit program was registered for the exit point.
0002 -- The exit program was not found.
0003 -- The call to the exit program exceeded the time allowed.
The default values for virtual device selection and autocreation will be used. These values are the following:
1) QAUTOVRT value will be 0;
2) The names of virtual device description that are used for autocreation will be QPADEVxxxx, where xxxx are alpha-numeric characters excluding A, E, I, O and U; and
3) The names of virtual controller descriptions that are used for device selection and autocreation are QPACTLxxxx and QVIRCDxxxx where xxxx are numeric characters.
Recovery . . . : If no exit program is registered for the Virtual Device Selection (QIBM_QPA_DEVSEL) exit point, do one of the following:
1) Change the system value from *REGFAC to a numeric value from 0-32500 or to the special value *NOMAX.
2) Register an exit program for the Virtual Device Selection (QIBM_QPA_DEVSEL) exit point.
3) Verify that the exit program returns appropriate values.
