Message : CPI8E10
Line &23 threshold information.
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : One of the following may have caused the problem:
-- The environment may be electrically noisy.
-- Noise on the telephone line may be causing an error in the flag characters.
-- The modem may not be properly grounded.
-- The IDLTMR value in the CRTLINSDLC command may be set too low.
-- Due to an overload, the remote device may not be able to respond fast enough.
Recovery . . . : You may choose to ignore this message because your line is operational. Refer to the IBM Systems Hardware Information Center Planning information for information about electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. Consult the local telephone company to have the line tested to verify line quality. Consult the modem manufacturer to determine the proper grounding technique to use. Verify the IDLTMR value in the CRTLINSDLC command. You may reduce the work load on the remote device by ending functions that are not needed. The threshold function may be turned off or changed in the threshold (THRESHOLD) parameter on the CRTLINSDLC command. To report the problem, start problem analysis (ANZPRB command).
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The communications line was in the idle condition enough times to cause the idle condition detected error to occur.
