Cause . . . . . : One of the following may have caused the problem:
-- The modem may not be properly grounded.
-- The environment may be electrically noisy (very low probability).
Recovery . . . : You may choose to ignore this message because your line is operational. Consult the modem manufacturer to determine the proper grounding technique to use. Refer to the IBM Systems Hardware Information Center Planning information for information about electrical requirements and noise problem considerations. The threshold function may be turned off or changed in the threshold (THRESHOLD) parameter on the CRTLINBSC command. To report the problem, start problem analysis (ANZPRB command).
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The automatic call unit (ACU) presents the abandon call retry error to indicate a connection to the remote station cannot be made. This error has been detected many times and caused a threshold error.
