Line &23 failed during insertion into the token-ring network.

Cause . . . . . : The token-ring adapter detected a beaconing condition on the token-ring network during the insertion process into the token-ring network. The token-ring could have been beaconing prior to the insertion process or the current adapter insertion may be causing the beaconing condition if it is attempting to insert into the ring at the wrong line speed.
Recovery . . . : If possible, use a token-ring LAN manager attached to the network to determine the cause and source of the beaconing. If the wrong line speed is suspected for line &23, enter the WRKCFGSTS *LIN command to display configuration details. To change the line speed parameter, you must vary off the line first. Then correct the line speed parameter and vary the line back on. If the problem continues, press F14 to run problem analysis.
