Cause . . . . . : One of the following may have caused the problem:
-- Remote equipment may be turned off.
-- The line may be busy.
-- A wrong number was specified for the CNNNBR value when the controller description was created.
Recovery . . . : You may choose to ignore this message if you have been successful in establishing a switched connection on previous call attempts. Verify that the remote equipment power is turned on and is ready to answer the telephone, the line is not busy, and the correct number is specified in the CNNNBR value of the controller description. The threshold function may be turned off or changed in the threshold (THRESHOLD) parameter on the CRTLINASC command. To report the problem, start problem analysis (ANZPRB command).
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The distant-station-connected indicates when the automatic call unit (ACU) has established a connection to the remote modem. An error in the connection has been detected many times and caused a threshold error.
