Cause . . . . . : Some file description values are not used when creating files using distributed data management (DDM) file &1 in library &2.
If a physical file is being created, the file description values that are ignored correspond to the following Create Physical File (CRTPF) parameters: member (MBR), maximum number of members (MAXMBRS), access path maintenance (MAINT), recovery (RECOVER), force auxiliary storage of access path (FRCACCPTH), contiguous space (CONTIG), auxiliary storage unit (UNIT), force write ratio (FRCRATIO), wait time for file (WAITFILE), wait time for record (WAITRCD), share open data path (SHARE), percent of deleted records (DLTPCT), re-use deleted records (REUSEDLT), level check (LVLCHK), and authority (AUT).
If a logical file is being created, the file description values that are ignored correspond to the following Create Logical File (CRTLF) parameters: MBR, MAXMBRS, MAINT, RECOVER, FRCACCPTH, UNIT, FRCRATIO, WAITFILE, WAITRCD, SHARE, LVLCHK, and AUT.
In addition, record format names, field names, field attributes, and some data description specifications (DDS) keywords are ignored.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : The DDM architecture does not support all file description values.
