Message : CPIA08E
Error occurred while processing object during conversion to the *TYPE2 directory format.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : During conversion of the &3 file system in auxiliary storage pool (ASP) &5, an error occurred. Therefore, object &1 of type &2 may not be converted correctly or it became unlinked from the directory. The reason code is &4, and the error number is &6. Unless otherwise noted, the conversion continued.
Reason codes are:
1:The *TYPE1 directory is damaged. The directory has been unlinked from the parent.
2:The authorities from the *TYPE1 directory could not be copied to the *TYPE2 directory.
3:The object could not be linked into a *TYPE2 directory. The object was unlinked from the *TYPE1 directory.
4:The timestamps on the *TYPE1 directory could not be copied to the *TYPE2 directory.
5:An error occurred while processing the objects in directory &1. Some objects in this directory may not have been processed.
6:The attributes from the *TYPE1 directory could not be copied to the *TYPE2 directory.
7:Unable to acquire system resources. The conversion has been stopped.
8:The file ID table is damaged. The conversion has been stopped.
9:The file ID for the directory has been changed.
10:An error occurred while processing the object. The conversion has been stopped.
Eligible file systems are:
*ROOT -- The Root file system.
*QOPENSYS -- The QOpenSys file system.
*UDFS -- The user-defined file systems in ASP &5.
If *N or zero appears, information is not available or does not apply.
Recovery . . . : Perform the recovery for reason code &4 as follows:
1, and 3: If the object can not be found, use the Reclaim Storage (RCLSTG) command to recover this object. If the object can be found, use either the Display Object Links (DSPLNK) or Work with Object Links (WRKLNK) command to verify the attributes of the object.
2, 4 and 6: Use either the DSPLNK or WRKLNK command to verify the attributes of the object.
5: Use the RCLSTG command to recover any objects not processed.
7: IPL to reinitialize the system resources and restart the conversion. If this problem continues, contact your IBM service representative.
8: Use the RCLSTG OMIT(*DIR) command to correct the file ID table, and IPL to restart the conversion.
9: If directory &1 had extended attributes defined, they are now lost. Restore them from a backup of the directory.
10: IPL to restart the conversion.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : If the error number is not zero, then use one of the following to determine the meaning of the error number.
- Use DSPMSGD CPExxxx, where xxxx is the error number to display an error message containing more information about this error number.
- Display the following file that contains descriptions of error numbers: QSYSINC/H, member ERRNO.
Internal step number &7.
