Message : CPIA971
System value QAUTOCFG not set to 0.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The system value to automatically configure devices (QAUTOCFG) is set to 1 (On). This causes new device descriptions to be created during the upgrade that will be used instead of existing device descriptions. This will cause problems with the Work with Hardware Products (WRKHDWPRD) option 5 after the upgrade to your AS/400 with PowerPC technology.
Recovery . . . : Do one of the following:
-- If you are using the Replacing-a-Release method to upgrade to an AS/400 with PowerPC technology, use the Change System Value (CHGSYSVAL) command just prior to the upgrade to change the value of QAUTOCFG to 0 (Off).
-- If you are using a method other than the Replacing-a-Release method, this value should be changed during the install of i5/OS on your AS/400 with PowerPC technology.
