Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Using the EDTF command to edit an externally described database file is not allowed since field level checking cannot be performed, possibly resulting in data being destroyed.
Recovery . . . : Although using the EDTF command to view and edit this file is not allowed, this file can still be viewed using the DSPF (Display File) command.
