Cause . . . . . : Ideographic characters and ideographic field names cannot be specified for character fields and numeric fields.
Recovery . . . : Specify constants using only alphameric characters. Specify a numeric field name, if the tested field is a numeric field. Specify a character field name, if the tested field is a character field.
