Socket initialization error detected by directory server.
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : The directory server detected a socket initialization error for Internet Protocol (IP) address &6 port &4.
Recovery . . . : If the value of the IP address is *ALL, all IP addresses were being used. Check the status of port &4 using the NETSTAT CL command. If the port is in use by another job, either end the other job or use System i Navigator to change the directory server network connection information.
If the port number is 0, there was an error opening the Unix socket, /tmp/s.slapd.instance, where 'instance' is the name of the directory server instance. The socket may not exist, or the QDIRSRV user profile may not have authority to the /tmp directory or the socket.
Restart the directory server using System i Navigator or by using the STRTCPSVR SERVER(*DIRSRV) CL command. If the problem continues to occur, contact your service representative.
