Message : GLD041A
Password cannot be stored in clear text.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The QRETSVRSEC system value does not allow the directory server to not allowed to store a password so that the clear text value can be retrieved.
The directory server is configured with no password protection. This configuration enables passwords to be stored and retrieved as clear text rather than encoded in the SHA or MD5 format. However, the current system configuration does not allow passwords to be stored and retrieved as clear text.
Recovery . . . : The request is to have the password be stored in clear text, but the system is not configured to allow storing them as clear text. If you do not need passwords to be retrieved in clear text, do one of the following:
1 - Ignore the error. Passwords will be stored in one of the encrypted formats (SHA or MD5).
2 - Using System i Navigator or the Change Directory Server Attributes (QgldChgDirSrvInstA) API, change the directory server configuration for Network Properties to indicate SHA or MD5 protection.
If you need passwords to be retrieved in clear text, do both of the following:
1 - Enable the server to store and retrieve passwords in clear text by using the Change System Value (CHGSYSVAL) command and changing the QRETSVRSEC system value to '1'.
2 - Retry the operation.
