Duplicate key was detected in SORT/MERGE at statement &1 while writing to an INDEXED file.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : During a SORT or MERGE operation with a GIVING file of INDEXED organization, a duplicate key condition was found when writing to the file. The SORT or MERGE operation was ended. The sorted or merged data in all GIVING files is incomplete. Message issued at statement &1 of COBOL program &4 in program object &2 in library &3.
Recovery . . . : 1) Remove the INDEXED file from the GIVING phrase of the SORT or MERGE statement, 2) Use a file of a different organization, or 3) Make sure that the resultant sorted/merged file does not create duplicate keys.
