Cause . . . . . : One of the following requests was made:
-- A request was made to modify the Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) delay time, UPS type, perform hardware checks on IPL, remote power on enable, auto power restart enable, or processor multi-tasking mode while running on a secondary partition on firmware level hex 00. These attributes can only be modified from the primary partition. The new value will be copied to all partitions on the system.
-- A request was made to modify the perform hardware checks on IPL, remote power on enable, or auto power restart enable while running on firmware level hex 10.
-- A request was made to modify the interrupt polling control attribute while running on firmware level hex 10. This attribute can only be modified on firmware level hex 00.
-- A request was made to modify the processor capacity, number of virtual processors, variable processor capacity weight, interactive capacity percentage, or amount of memory attribute, while running on a machine that does not support the modification. These attributes are only allowed to be modified on certain machines.
Recovery . . . : If the failure was caused by an attempt to change machine attributes, see how each of them can be changed, as described above, if applicable.
