Find what?
Message Long Text :
Cause . . . . . : You have pressed F6 to begin the find function.
Recovery . . . : To complete this function, do the following:
1) Type up to 60 characters of text that you want to find. Press Enter. Your document will be searched from the current cursor position to the end of the document, and your cursor will be positioned to the next occurrence of the characters.
2) To find the same characters again, press F6, then press Enter. The characters you entered for the previous find are remembered.
NOTES:
To cancel the find function, press F8 (Reset).
You can select a code to search for instead of text characters. Key one of the following to find the corresponding code.
-- *bb Begin bold
-- *bu Begin underline
-- *car Carrier return
-- *ct Center
-- *e End bold or underline
-- *hd Half index down
-- *hu Half index up
-- *pe Page end
-- *rcr Required carrier return
-- *rs Required space
-- *rt Required tab
-- *sc Stop code
-- *sh Syllable hyphen
-- *tab Tab
-- *wu Word underline
Key *inst to find text instructions.
Key *fc to find format changes.
Key *mtc to find text columns.
Key *stop to locate the next stop code.
The characters you enter for the Find prompt are also used by the Search/Replace option (F18). If you find characters using F6, and then press F18 to view the Search/Replace display, the Search for prompt will contain the find characters.
The find function searches only in a forward direction from the present cursor position to the end of the document.
F6 (Find) is not case sensitive; that is, if "abc" is keyed as the Find characters, F6 will find "abc", "ABC", and "Abc".
