Invalid volume identifier specified.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : New volume identifier &1 does not follow the naming rules for optical volumes created on the iSeries. The identifier must contain only alphabetic characters (A through Z), numeric characters (0 through 9), hyphen (-), underscore (_), or a period (.). The first character must be alphabetic or numeric and the identifier cannot contain blanks.
Optical volume identifiers have a maximum of either 30 or 32 characters depending on the media format. For media format *UDF the maximum length is 30 characters. For media format *HPOFS the maximum length is 32 characters.
Recovery . . . : Correct the volume identifier and try the request again.
