Message : OPT1542
Operation not supported to optical volume.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : Optical volume &1 has a media format that does not allow the function requested. The reason code of the failure is &2. Following are the reason codes and their meaning:
01 - A volume identifier greater than 30 characters was specified for a volume which has a media format of *UDF.
02 - An attempt was made to read, write or change extended attributes on a volume which has a media format of *UDF.
03 - An attempt was made to read or write to a volume which has a media format of *UDFP.
04 - An attempt was made to save a held file to a volume which has a media format of *UDF.
05 - An attempt was made to change the volume full threshold for a *UDF volume to something other than 100.
06 - An attempt was made to display directory attributes for a non-specific directory on a *UDF formatted media. The special value *ALL or a generic directory name is not allowed.
07 - An attempt was made to get a deny read/write byte lock for a file opened for read on a *UDF volume.
08 - An operation was issued which requires the target volume to be renamed. This volume cannot support a rename due to media format characteristics.
09 - Operation not allowed to volumes with *HPOFS or *UNKNOWN media format.
10 - Operation not allowed to volumes with *CECTG media format.
11 - Operation not allowed to certain types of bridge volumes. Bridge volumes contain more than one media format.
12 - Operation not allowed to this volume.
Recovery . . . : The recovery action for the reason codes are as follows:
01 - If the desired media format is *UDF specify a volume identifier of not more than 30 characters.
02 - Reading, writing or changing of extended file attributes is not supported to *UDF volumes. If extended file attributes are desired, use a volume with a media format of *HPOFS.
03 - Reading and writing to a UDF partial volume is not allowed. The only function allowed to a *UDFP volume is to remove it from the optical device.
04 - Held optical files can not be saved to a *UDF volume. Either save the held optical file to a *HPOFS volume or use the Work with Held Optical Files CL command and release the held file.
05 - Change the volume threshold to 100 and attempt the request again.
06 - Specify a specific directory name and try the request again.
07 - Open the file for write or read/write to get a deny read/write byte lock.
08 - If duplicating a volume specify NEWVOL(*FROMVOL) on the Duplicate Optical (DUPOPT) command. Otherwise, try the request to a different volume.
09 - Issue the request to a volume with media format *UDF or *ISO9660.
10 - Issue the request to a volume with media format *UDF, *HPOFS or *ISO9660.
11 - Issue the request to a different optical volume.
12 - Issue the request to a different optical volume.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : Extended status for the error is &3.
