Media or device error occurred.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The reason code is &3. The reason codes and their meanings are as follows:
01 - An error occurred with optical device &1.
02 - A media error occurred with optical volume &2.
03 - An error occurred which cannot be isolated to a device or media.
04 - An error occurred while loading optical volume &2 into a drive.
05 - Optical device &1 is no longer in a ready status. While processing volume &2 in device &1, either a hardware error occurred or the operator unloaded the device while volume &2 was being processed.
06 - An attempt was made to unload a mounted volume from virtual device &1. The volume must first be exported before it can be unloaded.
Recovery . . . : If the reason code is 01 or 03 check the product activity log and the licensed internal code log for more information about the error. Vary off and vary on the device and retry the request. If the error continues contact your next level of support.
If the reason code is 02 the media may be damaged or contain damaged directory structures or files. You may also be unable to write to the media. Attempt to copy desired files to another optical volume or duplicate volume &2 to another volume.
If the reason code is 04, remove the media from the optical library device using Remove Optical Cartridge (RMVOPTCTG) CL command and add it again using Add Optical Cartridge (ADDOPTCTG) CL command.
If the reason code is 05, ensure that the optical volume was not removed from the device. If the optical volume has not been removed from the optical device check for a device error in the product activity log.
If the reason code is 06, export the mounted volume using Remove Optical Cartridge (RMVOPTCTG) CL command then try the request again.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : Extended status for the error is &4.
