Message : QMR0744
Two or more operands have incompatible CCSIDs.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : The operation cannot be performed because two or more of the operands have incompatible Code page Character Set Identifiers (CCSIDs), and cannot be converted to a compatible CCSID for the operation. One or more of the operands may require double-byte or UCS2 graphic conversion.
Recovery . . . : Operand &1 has CCSID &3 and operand &2 has CCSID &4. If an operand is *N, the incompatible field or expression cannot be identified. If you are choosing join conditions, you should use columns with compatible CCSIDs. For record selection and expression definition, VARCHAR or VARGRAPHIC functions can also be used to ensure the operands have compatible CCSIDs.
Technical description . . . . . . . . : If one of the operands being used has a UCS2 CCSID and the other has a DBCS CCSID, the function VARGRAPHIC(expression, length, ccsid) should be used. The first argument can be an expression or field name. The type can be CHAR, GRAPHIC or UCS2 GRAPHIC. The second argument is the length attribute of the resulting varying-length string and must not exceed 16338. The third argument, if specified, must be a valid DBCS or UCS2 CCSID.
