Dec value for &7 must not be changed from &12.

Message Long Text :

Cause . . . . . : You cannot change the Dec (decimal) value of a character, binary, date, time, timestamp, BLOB, CLOB, or DBCLOB field. The Dec character shows what type of field it is, not the number of decimal positions.
Recovery . . . : Type &12 as Dec (decimal).
